What OTEA does

OTEA is electrical equipment installed at a commercial building’s breaker panels. It is designed to improve the quality of the power feeding the building and reduce electrical problems that can waste energy or put extra stress on equipment.

Energy Agent reviews the facility’s electricity use and electrical system, then helps arrange the appropriate equipment and installation. A licensed contractor performs the work, and before-and-after measurements can be used to assess performance.

Speed of Install: Most commercial installations are efficient and typically take under one hour.
Simple & Scalable: A single residential unit supports up to 200 amps, while larger commercial facilities are easily scaled with multiple units—one for each primary panel.
Versatile Placement: Units are NEMA 3R rated, meaning they can be installed either inside or outside the breaker box/control panel depending on facility needs.

Verify performance

Real-Time Proof: We strongly recommend using an AMP Clamp ($30–$40 on Amazon) during the install to measure and verify the load reduction in real-time.
The 24-Hour Rule: While you will see immediate changes on the meter, it typically takes 24 hours for the system to settle into a smooth, optimized harmonic flow.
Visual Check: The unit is maintenance-free. As long as the green light is on, the system is actively protecting and optimizing your facility.

Contractor Flexibility

Your Choice: You can use your own licensed contractor, a manufacturer-recommended contractor, or an Energy Agent-approved professional. We coordinate the permitting and facilitation to ensure it's done right.
